The Bachelor Degree of Forestry Study Program of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), announces the temporary postponement of seminar activities in connection with the implementation of the Open Recruitment of PT Fajar Surya Swadaya on 2–3 March 2026. Information on the updated schedule will be announced later.
Universitas Sumatera Utara will broadcast the Graduation Period II of the 2025/2026 Academic Year via live streaming through its official YouTube channel on 13–14 February 2026. The broadcast can be accessed through the streaming links according to the photo and ceremonial session schedules.
PT Fajar Surya Swadaya opens the Forestry Management Trainee (FMT) program for D3/S1 graduates from various disciplines. The selection will be conducted at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Medan, in early March 2026. The entire recruitment process is free of charge.

Universitas Sumatera Utara has officially opened registration for the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) 2026 for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Registration takes place from 3–18 February 2026 through portal.snpmb.id as an achievement-based university admission pathway.

Graduation Schedule Announcement for Period II Academic Year 2025/2026
The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), initiated a Disaster Response Workshop in collaboration with JAGATARA North Sumatra and cross-sector stakeholders to formulate strategies for post-disaster recovery, food security, and environmental conservation based on scientific approaches and collaboration.
PUI Bambu USU and PUI-PT Technoplast of Universitas Malikussaleh strengthened their collaboration through benchmarking of DIKTI-recognized Centers of Excellence and an FGD on planning a Scopus-indexed international conference, as part of the implementation of sustainable research and innovation cooperation.
