The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), is organizing a Tree Planting Movement in commemoration of World Environment Day 2026. This initiative invites members of the academic community and the public to participate in a meaningful greening action that supports a greener and more sustainable environment.
The Beyond The Loom workshop will showcase innovations in Malay weaving tools, the exploration of sustainable natural fibers, weaving demonstrations and hands-on practice, as well as discussions with academics and industry practitioners.
