During the meeting, both parties discussed plans for an academic visit and joint educational activities at the Faculty of Forestry USU. The planned agenda encompasses public lectures and collaborative learning involving faculty members and students from both institutions. This program is expected to serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge, academic experiences, and perspectives on forestry science and management in Indonesia and Malaysia.

The morning assembly was led by Herdin, with Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, serving as the assembly supervisor. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Prof. Dr. Arida Susilowati, S.Hut., M.Si., and administrative and educational staff across the Faculty of Forestry USU.

Over the two-day event, participants engaged in various orientation sessions designed to strengthen critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork capabilities. Alumni shared experiences regarding organizational history, leadership values, and the vital role of students in environmental conservation. Candidates were also introduced to Rain Forest's divisions and presented their innovative ideas during dedicated proposal sessions.

Through this training, lecturers are encouraged to optimize the use of digital learning platforms while developing teaching methods relevant to student needs. The utilization of technology is also expected to broaden access to lecture materials and support a more flexible and sustainable learning process.

One focus of the discussion was the achievement of Average Education Effectiveness (AEE), particularly in the Undergraduate Program, as well as efforts to increase the number of graduates completing their studies on time. In the discussion, Dr. Tito Sucipto explained that the trend of timely graduation has shown an increase year by year.
