Three Research Projects by USU Faculty of Forestry Lecturers Receive DPPM USU 2026 Multi-Year Research Grants Three research proposals from lecturers of the Faculty of Forestry USU have been awarded the 2026 DPPM USU Continuing Multi-Year Research Grant. The studies focus on mangrove ecosystem research and the development of an Eco Forest City model in Medan. 09 March 2026

Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. officially leads Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2026–2031 period together with the Vice Rectors and the University Secretary. Still Want to Apply? USU Learning Assistance (BBM) Scholarship & Achievement Scholarships Extended Until March 3! Registration for the BBM and Achievement Scholarships for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year at Universitas Sumatera Utara has been extended until March 3, 2026, at 03.00 PM WIB. Each scholarship provides a quota for 538 students with financial assistance of Rp2,100,000 per recipient. 02 March 2026

Student Learning Assistance Scholarship (BBM) & Merit Scholarships at USU Are Now Open! Check the Requirements and Timeline Here Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has opened registration for the Student Learning Assistance Scholarship (BBM) and the Merit Scholarship for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026. This program provides financial support for active students who meet the eligibility criteria. The selection process is conducted in stages through the faculty and the university, with a tight schedule running until March 2026. 20 February 2026

This service covers emergency care, outpatient services, and inpatient care with a faster, easier, and more user-friendly process. Working Hours & Class Schedule During Ramadan 1447 H Officially Adjusted: Don’t Get the Time Wrong! The Faculty of Forestry USU has adjusted administrative service working hours as well as 2-credit and 3-credit class schedules during Ramadan 1447 H in accordance with the Rector’s Circular Letter of USU.
