The Faculty of Forestry USU held an Eid gift distribution event for lecturers and staff on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Faculty Meeting Room. This activity served as a gesture of appreciation and strengthened the sense of togetherness among the academic community of the Faculty of Forestry USU during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Faculty of Forestry USU signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with PT Sultan Aren Indonesia on March 5, 2026, at the Faculty Meeting Room. This collaboration is expected to strengthen cooperation between academia and industry while opening opportunities for internships and competency development for students in the field of forestry.

The Faculty of Forestry USU, in collaboration with PT Fajar Surya Swadaya, organized a Campus Hiring event on March 2–3, 2026.

Lecturers from the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, conducted education and training on mounting deer antler ferns (Platycerium) for housewives on 21 February 2026. The activity equipped participants with practical skills while opening up opportunities for productive home-based businesses centered on ornamental plants.

BADAK PKL Series at the Faculty of Forestry USU discussed the flow, regulations, and technical implementation of the 2026 Field Work Practice (PKL) with the PKL Chair, the Undergraduate Program in Forestry, and lecturers from Forest Resource Conservation. This activity helped students prepare for PKL in a more structured and thorough manner.
