Faculty of Forestry USU Implements DAMAR (Deanery Listens) as a Forum for Student Aspirations During its execution, students conveyed various aspirations and issues, which were then gathered and responded to according to their respective fields and authorities. Forestry Students of Faculty of Forestry USU Study Nursery Management via Field Trip to Toba Nursery During the visit, students received a detailed overview of the Toba Nursery's history and toured key facilities, including the Germination House Area, Shaded House Area, Open Area, Mother Plant House, and Acclimatization House Area. Students also studied various seedling species utilized in the FOLU Net Sink 2030 program and learned about the applications of tissue culture, rooting houses, and production houses. 16 October 2026

Healthy Thursday at Faculty of Forestry USU Strengthens Fellowship and Promotes Healthy Lifestyles Beyond serving as a means to maintain physical fitness, this healthy walk provided a relaxed interaction space for leadership, faculty, and administrative staff outside their daily work routines. The fellowship built through these simple activities is expected to strengthen inter-employee relationships and foster a positive workplace environment within the Faculty of Forestry, USU. 15 October 2026

MASMA Congress of Forestry Faculty Sylva Indonesia PC USU Pushes for Establishment of Faculty BEM The establishment of the Student Executive Board (BEM) was discussed to strengthen the student governance system through program coordination, aspiration channeling, and structured advocacy of student interests. The existence of this body is expected to enhance student representation and drive the implementation of effective, sustainable student programs. 15 October 2026

Touch The Grass: Rimbapala USU and Ngalam Connect Youth with Nature The Touch The Grass event featured a Nature Walk exploring the park while observing local ecosystems, a Nature Hunt to identify natural elements, Nature Journaling to document observations, and a Touch The Grass Corner offering a direct sensory connection with nature. 11 October 2026

Faculty of Forestry USU Facilitates Student ID Card Distribution for New Students of the 2026/2027 Academic Year Through this activity, the Faculty of Forestry USU continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing an orderly, comfortable academic environment that supports students' needs. Faculty of Forestry USU Supports NISCOPS Impact Assessment through a Biodiversity Survey In this activity, Dr. Anita Zaitunah served as a member of the implementation team responsible for developing a standard methodology to measure the impact of the NISCOPS Program. Faculty of Forestry USU Hosts the Forest Youthverse Resilience Summit, Empowering Young People to Take Action for Biodiversity Carrying the theme “Youth for Biodiversity Resilience: Young People Taking Action, Natural Wealth Preserved,” the event, held on October 2–3, 2026, served as a platform for learning, capacity building, and idea development for young people to understand forest conservation, biodiversity, forest and land fire prevention and management, and innovation in the forestry sector. 03 October 2026

USU Graduate School Holds Drone Mapping Training Batch V at Kwala Bekala Campus 2 The training was led by Dr. Achmad Siddik Thoha and took place with great enthusiasm, as participants actively engaged in every stage of the activity.
