USU Forestry Students Learn Superior Durian Grafting, Targeting 10,000 Seedlings for Food Security The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in collaboration with the North Sumatra Regional Board of JAGATARA, conducted a training on superior plant seedling production for 50 students in Tanjung Selamat Village, Sunggal District, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Students were trained in seed selection and durian grafting techniques. The program aims to produce up to 10,000 superior seedlings to be planted with local communities to support food security, disaster mitigation, and environmental recovery in North Sumatra. 10 March 2026
