The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), facilitated the distribution of Student Identity Cards (KTM) for new students of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, conducted by Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) on Wednesday (October 7, 2026). The activity proceeded smoothly and in an orderly manner as part of administrative services to support students' needs throughout their academic activities.

From the beginning of the distribution process, new students appeared enthusiastic about following each stage of the activity. Students who had prepared the required documents, including their original identity cards (KTP), photocopies of their identity cards, and writing materials, proceeded through the registration and card distribution process in an orderly manner. They also demonstrated patience while queuing and waiting for their turns until all service procedures were completed.

The facilitation provided by the Faculty of Forestry USU was part of its efforts to support the smooth delivery of administrative services for new students. Collaboration with BTN is expected to help students obtain their KTM as an official student identity card required to support various needs throughout their higher education.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Forestry USU continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing an orderly, comfortable academic environment that supports students' needs. Good services from the beginning of the academic journey are expected to provide new students with a positive experience as they begin their studies.

This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, particularly in supporting an inclusive educational environment that meets students' needs, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through synergy between higher education institutions and the banking sector in supporting educational services.
