Two students from USU’s Faculty of Forestry, Zepanya Sihombing and Lola Anggita Siregar, graduate as the fastest achievers, earning their S.Hut degree in 3 years and 8 months.

As a form of enrichment, training on the topic of "Rare Tree Survey Methods and Introduction to Rare Trees on Mursala Island" was conducted at the USU Faculty of Forestry Campus on March 7–8, 2024 with speakers Dr. Iyan Robiansyah, S.Si., M.Sc. from BRIN and his team, as well as other speakers from Universitas Samudra and FPLI.

The 2023/2024 even semester marks a pivotal moment for USU Forestry students, batch 2021, as they select undergraduate thesis advisors. The BADAK event provides an interactive platform with lecturers and labs.
