SRM University Andhra Pradesh India visited the USU Faculty of Forestry on March 5, 2024.

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, mangrove seedling planting was carried out in Nipah Village, Sei Nagalawan Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra.

Forestry students from Universitas Sumatera Utara, along with students from various faculties across the university, are currently participating in a living lab program in Deli Serdang. This activity is supervised by Dr. Anita Zaitunah and conducted in collaboration with NUFFIC, under the theme “Sustainable Food System in Support of Business Development in Deli Serdang, North Sumatera.”

The Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara has officially appointed the Faculty Advisory Board (DPF) based on the DPF meeting held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 15:00 to 16:30 WIB.

Five students of the Forestry Study Program of the USU Faculty of Forestry participated in the selection of the National Olympiad of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Higher Education (ONMIPA-PT) at the USU level on February 20–21, 2024. The five students will compete with 146 other students from all faculties at USU.

A total of two students from Universitas Tadulako (Untad), Palu, Central Sulawesi, and Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana), Kupang, NTT participated in the MBKM Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) at the USU Forestry Study Program for the next semester.
