The Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara held a public lecture on February 19, 2025, at USU Bekala Campus, featuring Prof. Dr. Reiko Omoto from Tottori University, Japan. The lecture explored supply chain-based coral conservation with a case study on Mozuku seaweed farming in Okinawa. Attended by faculty members and students, the event included a Q&A session and discussions on implementing this concept in Indonesia. As a token of appreciation, certificates of recognition were presented to Prof. Reiko Omoto and the participating lecturers. This event aims to strengthen academic collaboration between USU and Tottori University.
