TALENTA Training for Staff at the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara The USU Faculty of Forestry held a TALENTA training to improve the service quality of its staff on August 29, 2024. Knowing Fungi to Tasting Paprika, PUI Mangrove Summer Course Participants Visit USU Bekala Campus PUI Mangrove 2024 summer course participants enjoyed a visit to USU Campus 2 in Kwala Bekala with a variety of exciting activities, including a room tour, laboratory exploration, and bell pepper harvesting. This invigorating experience enriched the participants' knowledge of various plant species and made a lasting impression. 29 August 2024

Featuring International Keynote Speakers, PUI Mangrove and Faculty of Forestry Successfully Held 6th ICONART International Conference The USU Center of Excellence in Science and Technology for Mangrove successfully held the 6th ICONART, featuring eight presenters from Indonesia and abroad who discussed topics related to natural resources and technology. The conference strengthened academic, industry, and community collaboration to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. 27 August 2024

Alumni Talks and Preparation of Prospective Graduates for Period IV 2023/2024 The event, which lasted for approximately 3 hours, was held at the USU Campus 2 Kwala Bekala Deli Serdang. This activity is one of the routine agendas held before the implementation of simultaneous graduation in the Universitas Sumatera Utara. The theme raised in this graduation was “Contribution of USU Faculty of Forestry Alumni to the Archipelago and Advanced Indonesia,” which presented one of the Faculty of Forestry alumni, Erizar Pasaribu, S.Hut., M.Si, who currently serves as Head of the Forest Planning and Utilization Section of KPH Region I Stabat. 16 August 2024

Take a Peek at the Excitement of the Faculty of Forestry PKKMB Day-3, from Greenhouse Tour to Sharing 300 Cup Wikstea! The USU Faculty of Forestry successfully completed a series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) 2024 events with a lot of excitement and unforgettable experiences. The third day of PKKMB was filled with forestry materials, greenhouse tours, games with prizes, and stunning art performances. The chairman of the committee, Adil Ritonga, expressed his appreciation to all parties involved, hoping that the bond between new students and seniors will continue to be closely intertwined. 15 August 2024

Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at the USU Faculty of Forestry in 2024 A look of excitement radiated from the faces of the new students who participated in a series of PKKMB 2024 events. The three-day PKKMB event began with a lively opening ceremony and MURI record-breaking at the Mini Stadium on the USU Padang Bulan Campus, Medan. Just as interesting, a series of entertainment was also featured in this year's PKKMB festivities. After a series of opening events were held, Faculty of Forestry students departed for USU Campus 2 Bekala using the Linus Bus (Lintas USU). 15 August 2024

Release of Vertical Rescue School Delegates The USU Forestry Rimbapala released the Vertical Rescue School delegates on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the USU Faculty of Forestry, Kwala Bekala Campus. The event, opened by Dr. Tito Sucipto, marked the beginning of training at Scout Village, Sibolangit, North Sumatra, to improve rescue skills in outdoor activities. 10 August 2024
