Registration for the BBM and Achievement Scholarships for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year at Universitas Sumatera Utara has been extended until March 3, 2026, at 03.00 PM WIB. Each scholarship provides a quota for 538 students with financial assistance of Rp2,100,000 per recipient.

The Graduation Book for Periods I and II of the Academic Year 2024/2025 of Universitas Sumatera Utara is now available online. The academic community can access it through the official USU website to view graduation data and documentation.

Two students from the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Class of 2022, successfully completed their thesis defenses and were recorded as the fastest graduates of 2026 with research topics in the field of Forest Products Technology.

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has opened registration for the Student Learning Assistance Scholarship (BBM) and the Merit Scholarship for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026. This program provides financial support for active students who meet the eligibility criteria. The selection process is conducted in stages through the faculty and the university, with a tight schedule running until March 2026.

USU Hospital has introduced the FastTrack–USU service as part of its efforts to enhance healthcare services specifically for the academic community of Universitas Sumatera Utara. This service covers emergency care, outpatient services, and inpatient care with a faster, easier, and more user-friendly process. The program is expected to facilitate access to healthcare services for the USU academic community.

The Faculty of Forestry USU has adjusted administrative service working hours as well as 2-credit and 3-credit class schedules during Ramadan 1447 H in accordance with the Rector’s Circular Letter of USU. Members of the academic community are advised to carefully review these changes to ensure academic activities and services continue to run effectively.

Four students of the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, earned the title of Best Graduates at the USU Graduation Period II Academic Year 2025/2026. This achievement reflects strong academic dedication and the important role of academic supervisors in guiding students toward outstanding graduation.

The Faculty of Forestry, USU, will hold an ITTO–BRIN General Lecture on February 13, 2026, featuring Dr. Tetra Yanuariadi (ITTO) and Dr. Ratih Damayanti (BRIN). The event will discuss global roles in tropical forest sustainability and innovations in wood forensics.

The KRS Adjustment Period (PKRS) of the Faculty of Forestry, USU, will take place on February 9–13, 2026. Students are advised to ensure that course selection complies with regulations, including specific semester requirements and coordination with Academic Advisors.

The Faculty of Forestry of Universitas Sumatera Utara is organizing Fahutan USU PKM Coaching as a mentoring platform for students in preparing proposals for the Student Creativity Program. The activity will be held on 9–10 February 2026 at the USU Bekala Campus.
