Faculty of Forestry USU Wins Two Awards at the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence and the 74th Dies Natalis of USU On this occasion, the Faculty of Forestry USU achieved two victories, winning First Place in the Yell-Yell Competition and Third Place in the Bazaar Stand Decoration Competition. Both categories challenged participants to demonstrate creativity, teamwork, communication, and the ability to develop ideas collaboratively. 17 August 2026

Faculty of Forestry USU Showcases Creativity and Forest Products at the Merah Putih Festival In the competition, the Faculty of Forestry USU involved administrative staff and students in creating a creative booth that represented the faculty’s forestry identity. The booth’s decorations featured a variety of organic materials and natural accessories, including bamboo leaves, wild orchids, and other natural materials creatively arranged to enhance its appearance. 17 August 2026

Faculty of Forestry USU Showcases Enthusiasm in the Yell-Yell Competition at the Red and White Festival From the beginning of the performance, the participants demonstrated great enthusiasm and performed with confidence. The strong teamwork between education personnel and students became one of the key strengths of the Faculty of Forestry USU’s performance. The spirit of the event was further enhanced by cheers and applause from the audience throughout the performance. 17 August 2026

UKM Rain Forest Inaugurates Arkasena Cabinet, Strengthening Synergy for Sustainable Change The Rain Forest Student Activity Unit (UKM Rain Forest) of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), officially inaugurated the Arkasena Cabinet for the 2026/2027 term on Monday (August 10, 2026), at USU Kwala Bekala Campus 2. The inauguration carried the theme, “Bringing New Light to Leadership, Strengthening Synergy, and Realizing Sustainable Change.” 11 August 2026
