Under the theme “Alumni Synergy in Forestry Development in North Sumatra,” the event will feature Aramico, S.Hut., M.Si., Head of the General Affairs and Personnel Subdivision of the Environmental and Forestry Agency (DLHK), as the speaker.
The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), will hold a briefing for prospective graduates of Period IV, Academic Year 2025/2026, as part of its efforts to prepare prospective graduates for the professional world and strengthen the role of alumni in forestry development.

Through this activity, prospective graduates are expected to gain insights and motivation to pursue their careers as professional and integrity-driven graduates who can make meaningful contributions to forestry and environmental development in North Sumatra.
The event also serves as a platform to strengthen synergy among universities, alumni, government institutions, and various stakeholders in supporting sustainable forestry development.
By strengthening alumni capacity and networks, the activity also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through graduate competency development, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through stronger multi-stakeholder collaboration for sustainable development.
