The Faculty of Forestry USU Strengthens Quality Culture through the Preparation of RP–RTL Cycle 18

The Faculty of Forestry at USU conducted the preparation of RP and RTL for GKM–GJM Cycle 18 as part of strengthening the Internal Quality Assurance System to improve academic quality and faculty governance.

HUMAS FAHUTAN — The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, carried out the activity of completing the Implementation Plan (RP) and Follow-up Action Plan (RTL) of the Quality Control Group (GKM) for the Bachelor’s and Master’s Forestry Study Programs, as well as the Faculty Quality Assurance Group (GJM), on Monday, 12 January 2026. The activity, which took place from 14:00 to 16:00 WIB, formed part of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Cycle 18.

 

The activity aimed to evaluate quality achievements from the previous cycle while formulating continuous improvement plans and follow-up actions to enhance academic quality and governance within the Faculty of Forestry at USU.

 

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry at USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Study Programs, expert staff, and Heads of Laboratories. Also in attendance were representatives from the USU Quality Assurance Agency (BPM), namely Isti Ilmiati Fujiati, M.Sc., CM-FM., M.Pd., Ked., FISPH – FK USU; Ir. Tati Vidiana Sari, S.Pt., M.P., IPM.; and Farah Dilla, who provided guidance and reinforcement related to the implementation of quality assurance.

 

The preparation of the RP and RTL was conducted in a hybrid format, both online and onsite, enabling active participation from all stakeholders. Through constructive and collaborative discussions, it is expected that the RP–RTL Cycle 18 documents will serve as clear and measurable guidelines in strengthening the quality culture and driving improvements in educational quality at the Faculty of Forestry, USU.
