The even semester of 2023/2024 has officially ended. Various events during the study period have been passed, including the teaching and learning process, practices, seminars, and thesis defense. With the end of the study period in the even semester of 2023/2024, based on the results of the recapitulation of student thesis examination data, it is known that half of the USU Undergraduate Program in Forestry batch 2020 (49.8%) have graduated on time or in less than 4 years. In total, the study interests that graduate the most students are Forest Management (60.4%) and Forest Products Technology (60.0%), and the other two study interests, namely Forest Resources Conservation (40.4%) and Forest Cultivation (38.3%), occupy the bottom position.
The USU Undergraduate Program in Forestry is determined to continuously encourage and make efforts to accelerate students' study period so they can graduate on time. The resulting graduates are maintained in quality through direction and guidance by each Supervisory Commission, most of whom have doctoral degrees (74%). In addition to preparing students with knowledge about forestry, the USU Undergraduate Program in Forestry also provides a forum for self-development through various programs, such as organizations and other academic activities.
By graduating on time, the academic cycle will run normally. Opportunities for graduates to get a job or continue their postgraduate studies are also faster and wider open. Don't hesitate to study at the USU Undergraduate Program in Forestry because your doubt is your loss. Although around 50% of the 2020 batch students have not yet held the S.Hut (Bachelor of Forestry) title, they are currently fighting toward the graduation gate, which is in sight. Congratulations and cheers to the younger Forester cohorts!!!
