USU FACULTY OF FORESTRY – The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Prophet Muhammad SAW’s Mawlid study on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the An-Nur Mosque, Faculty of Forestry, Kwala Bekala. The event carried the theme “Emulating the Noble Morals of Prophet Muhammad SAW in Campus Life” and featured Dr. Rudiawan Sitorus, S.Fill.I., M.Pem.I. as the preacher.
This religious gathering became a momentum to strengthen the brotherhood of the academic community while reminding everyone of the importance of emulating the Prophet’s morals in daily life, including in the campus environment.
In his sermon, Dr. Rudiawan Sitorus conveyed that the Prophet’s morals—filled with compassion, honesty, and the spirit of spreading goodness—are exemplary values relevant for students, lecturers, and all members of the academic community. These values can serve as a foundation for creating a campus environment that is harmonious, full of integrity, and rich in togetherness.
The event, held from 09.00 to 12.00 WIB, was attended solemnly and with a strong sense of unity. The USU Faculty of Forestry hopes this activity can inspire the entire academic community to enliven Islamic values in both academic and social activities.
