The partnership between BPK Sumut and USU’s Faculty of Forestry through an MOA strengthens the synergy of the Tri Dharma Higher Education in education, research, and community service. This collaboration aims to enhance university governance quality for better development.

The Regional Representative of the Audit Board (BPK) of North Sumatra and the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Friday, March 15, 2024. The signing ceremony took place at the BPK Office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Medan, North Sumatra.


The MOA document was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Dr. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean 3 of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Prof. Dr. Agus Purwoko, S.Hut., M.Si., the Dean’s Expert Staff, Dr. Nelly Anna, S.Hut., M.Si., and the Head of the Forest Product Technology Laboratory (THH), Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim, S.Hut., M.Si.


This partnership focuses on the Tri Dharma Higher Education activities, including education, research, and community service, as well as other relevant areas. The collaboration between the two institutions is an effort to enhance synergy and coordination between BPK North Sumatra and state universities, particularly Universitas Sumatera Utara. The cooperation between the Faculty of Forestry USU and BPK North Sumatra is expected to improve the quality and performance of both institutions. Furthermore, the signing of this MOA adds to BPK North Sumatra’s list of strategic stakeholders in realizing good governance within the university environment.
