Dr. Ridwanti Batubara, S.Hut., M.P. is one of the lecturers at the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Since 2001 until now, she has been actively engaged in various activities related to the Three Pillars of Higher Education, including Education, Research, and Community Service. Known affectionately as Bu Wanti, she was born on February 15, 1976. As a researcher in the field of forest product chemistry, she teaches several courses in the Forest Product Technology specialization, part of the USU Undergraduate Program in Forestry.
She completed her undergraduate education at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor's in Forestry (S.Hut). Subsequently, she pursued her Master's degree at Mulawarman University, graduating in 2006 with a Master's in Agriculture (M.P). Her doctoral education (S3) took place at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Dr. Ridwanti Batubara has authored various scientific works that have been published in reputable journals and proceedings, contributing to the advancement of forest product knowledge. Her research and development activities in the field of forest product chemistry, as well as her community service initiatives, have been ongoing and impactful in various regions of North Sumatra.
