Mariah Ulfa, S.Hut., M.Sc. was born on March 15, 1992, and has been one of the lecturers in the USU Faculty of Forestry Undergraduate Program in Forestry since 2020. In January 2024, she was officially appointed as a civil servant lecturer (PNS) in the same study program, specializing in Forest Resource Conservation. She is an alumni of the USU Faculty of Forestry, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Forestry in 2014. With a strong passion for learning, she continued her studies at the Master's level at the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), graduating in 2017 with a Master of Science (M.Sc). In the second year of her master's program (2016), she received a joint degree program scholarship at Kochi University, Japan.
As a woman of Acehnese descent, Mariah Ulfa demonstrates high enthusiasm in fulfilling the three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi). She actively engages in various research and community service activities, publishing her work in reputable academic outlets such as journals and proceedings. To date, she continues to conduct research and collaborates with various stakeholders to support the realization of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, demonstrating her love for nature and commitment to the sustainability of natural resources.
