Ida Mallia Ginting Suka, S.Hut was born in Bekasi on October 04, 1996 to the late Mr. Bimal Roy Ginting Suka and Mrs. Marhaida Hasibuan as the 3rd of 5 children. Lia, as she is familiarly called, took elementary to high school education in Binjai City. Then, she continued her undergraduate education at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) in the Forestry Study Program from 2014 to 2018. In addition to completing formal education, she also participated in several activities including Internships at the Center for Forest Research and Development as part of the KOMATSU-FORDA Bogor collaboration, in 2018. Besides that, she has also been involved in RHL (Forest and Land Rehabilitation) activities in 2018–2019. In 2021, she became part of the enumerator team in the Enviro division at PT Agincourt Resources, Batang Toru, North Sumatra. Currently, she works as an administrative staff of the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Besides working, she also often fills her spare time by writing various scientific articles including journals, books, and proceedings related to various forestry research.
