The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a Halal Bihalal 1447 H event on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Faculty Meeting Room. The gathering served as a meaningful occasion to strengthen ties among the academic community in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

HUMAS FAHUTAN – The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), आयोजित a Halal Bihalal 1447 H event on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Faculty Meeting Room. This activity marked an important moment to strengthen relationships among the academic community following the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
 

The event, which began at 11:00 WIB, was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and other members of the Faculty of Forestry USU. A warm and familial atmosphere was evident throughout the event.
 

The program commenced with an opening by the master of ceremonies, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an along with a brief interpretation, adding a solemn and reflective tone to the gathering.
 

The first remarks were delivered by the Head of BKM An-Nur, Dr. Ir. Pindi Patana, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU, who emphasized the importance of fostering harmony and strengthening unity within the campus environment.

“This Halal Bihalal moment serves as a space to reinforce togetherness and maintain harmony within the academic community,” he stated. Next, Prof. Ir. Siti Latifah, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D., IPU., as a representative of the Faculty Senate, encouraged all attendees to use this occasion as a moment of self-reflection and to strengthen the values of togetherness and mutual care in academic life.
 

Representing the faculty leadership, Dr. Ir. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, S.Hut., M.Si., highlighted the importance of maintaining synergy among lecturers, administrative staff, and students.
“We hope this activity is not merely a tradition, but also strengthens relationships and collaboration within the Faculty of Forestry,” he remarked.
 

The event concluded with a prayer, followed by a handshake session as a symbol of mutual forgiveness. The sense of togetherness continued through a friendly gathering and shared meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
 

Through this activity, the Faculty of Forestry USU reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a harmonious, solid academic environment that upholds strong values of unity and kinship.
