The second day of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), featured classroom sessions, introductions to lecturers and staff, tree planting activities, and student organization introductions. Several lecturers and staff members were present during the sessions.
In the afternoon, the new students were greeted and motivated by USU Vice Rector I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., and the Director of the Directorate of Student Achievement and Alumni Relations (Ditmawalumni), Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si. Also in attendance was the Head of the Public Relations, Protocol, and Promotion Office, Amalia Meutia, M.Psi., Psychologist.
Vice Rector I highlighted the numerous academic opportunities available to students, such as MBKM programs, including internships, research, student exchanges, and mobility to top universities abroad. He emphasized the importance of preparation. Meanwhile, the Director of Ditmawalumni challenged the new students to make tangible contributions through their achievements.
