USU Faculty of Forestry Public Relations – The Formasa team from the USU Forestry Program achieved an outstanding accomplishment at Innovilleague 2025, a national-level student league focusing on poverty alleviation through rural community empowerment. This competition was organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenko PM).
The five members of the Formasa Team, Muhammad Farhan, Johanna Elisabeth Patricia Sipayung, Greselia Perbina Purba, Hafizhah, and Pestaria Samosir, successfully competed against 482 student teams from across Indonesia. After several selection stages, Formasa made it to the top 8 national finalists alongside teams from Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, and Sekolah Tinggi Pelayaran Jakarta.
The final round was held at Universitas Negeri Surabaya on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, attended by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris (Deputy for Village, Underdeveloped, and Special Areas Community Empowerment Coordination at Kemenko PM). On this occasion, the USU Formasa Team earned the Honorable Mention award, bringing pride to the USU Faculty of Forestry at the national level.
