The Bachelor of Forestry Study Program of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held RASAMALA as a forum to evaluate and strengthen academic readiness for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026, while also reinforcing a sense of togetherness among the academic community.

HUMAS FAHUTAN — The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), strengthened its readiness for the implementation of the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026 through the RASAMALA (Initial Semester Meeting on Academic and Related Matters), held on Monday, 12 January 2026, at the Faculty of Forestry Meeting Room, Bekala Campus, Deli Serdang.

 

This activity served as a strategic forum for the academic community, particularly the Bachelor of Forestry Study Program, to evaluate the implementation of academic activities during the Odd Semester of AY 2025/2026, as well as to formulate plans and learning policy directions for the upcoming even semester.

 

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., the Vice Dean I, Dr. Ir. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, S.Hut., M.Si., the Head of the Bachelor of Forestry Study Program, Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng., and the Secretary of the Bachelor of Forestry Study Program, Dr. Evalina Herawati, S.Hut., M.Si., along with other faculty members.

 

During the meeting, faculty leaders, study program managers, and lecturers discussed various key agendas, ranging from the evaluation of teaching and learning processes, academic preparedness for the new semester, to academic issues and educational governance that require collective attention. The discussions were dynamic and constructive, reflecting ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance the quality of education within the Faculty of Forestry USU.

 

In addition to focusing on academic aspects, RASAMALA also served as a platform to strengthen coordination and solidarity within the academic community. The event was complemented by a communal meal and a thanksgiving session celebrating lecturers’ promotions, as a form of appreciation for their achievements and dedication in carrying out the tridharma of higher education.

Through the implementation of RASAMALA and this initial semester meeting, the Faculty of Forestry USU reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving academic governance, strengthening internal collaboration, and creating a conducive, adaptive, and sustainable learning environment in welcoming the Even Semester of AY 2025/2026.
