Good news came from the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. In fact, the USU Faculty of Forestry located on Campus 2 Kuala Bekala managed to occupy the highest SINTA rank in the field of publications.
The Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, managed to occupy the top position in the field of publications. Based on the results of Kemendikbudristek's SINTA data search, the SINTA Score Overall from the USU Forestry Study Program obtained a score of 59,206 and the SINTA Score 3Yr of 24,991. These scores are far above the SINTA scores of all Forestry Departments or Study Programs in Indonesia, beating other top Forestry Departments and Study Programs such as UGM, IPB, UB, UNTAN, UNMUL, UNILA, UNLAM, and UNHAS.
This data was obtained from 77 Forestry Departments or Study Programs throughout Indonesia, grouped into six Forestry Department or Study Program codes: Code 54251 (Forest Management), Code 54252 (Forestry), Code 54254 (Forestry K. Kab. Gayo Lues), Code 54256 (Forest Conservation), Code 54257 (Forest Product Technology), and Code 54258 (Forest Management).
This achievement is one of the sweet fruits of the hard work of the entire academic community of the USU Faculty of Forestry. This achievement is also supported by the excellent human resources of lecturers owned by the Faculty of Forestry, with a proportion of 75% having a doctoral education, 6 professors, and 30% professional engineers, 4 of them being international engineers. In addition, the USU Faculty of Forestry lecturers also cooperate and collaborate with stakeholders at home and abroad.
