The seminars are conducted in a hybrid setting, located at the USU Faculty of Forestry, USU Campus 2 Kwala Bekala, Deli Serdang. This seminar is open to the public by presenting two world-class speakers, namely:

2. Assoc. Prof. Alison KS Wee, Ph.D. (University of Nottingham Malaysia)

Seminars were conducted at different times, namely:

- On May 30, 2024 with the topic "Application of eDNA Metabarcoding in the Assessment of Fish in Malaysian Mangroves: Prospects, Challenges, and Opportunities" and resource person Assoc. Prof. Alison KS Wee, Ph.D.

Both seminars were hosted by the Head of PUI Mangrove, Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D. and opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM. This seminar is certainly not the final goal, because in the future there will be more intensive collaborations in research, publications, education, and community service.
