FAHUTAN PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) organized a Lebaran hampers distribution event on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, for all faculty members and staff as a form of appreciation and unity in celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
The event, held within the faculty premises, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a welcoming speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry at USU, Prof. Dr. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si. The program also featured a Kulibas (Fifteen-Minute Lecture) on the wisdom of Ramadan, delivered by Dr. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, S.Hut., M.Si., emphasizing the importance of sharing and fostering social awareness.
The highlight of the event was the symbolic handover of hampers by the Head of the Forestry Study Program, Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng., and the Head of the Master’s Program in Forestry, Dr. Ir. Samsuri, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., to representatives of the staff. This warm and meaningful gathering strengthened the bonds of camaraderie among the academic community of the Faculty of Forestry at USU.
