Providing the best service is one of the visions and missions of all agencies as a form of high loyalty, and the USU Faculty of Forestry is no exception. To improve service quality, the USU Faculty of Forestry conducted TALENTA training for all staff on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at USU Campus 2, Kwala Bekala, Deli Serdang.

The training was attended by the Head of the Human Resources Bureau of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dra. Syafnita Hanura Silalahi, M.S.P., and her entourage, Vice Dean II of the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies, Yasmin Chairunnisa Muchtar, S.P., MBA, Branch Manager of BSI USU, Juli Agustini, S.E., and of course all staff in the USU Faculty of Forestry. The guests were warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean II of the USU Faculty of Forestry, Dr. Pindi Patana, S.Hut., M.Sc., and other staff. The training began with remarks by Dr. Pindi Patana as Vice Dean II. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude for the presence of Mrs. Syafnita and her entourage, who were willing to attend the training, which would undoubtedly improve the quality of service at the Faculty of Forestry.

On this occasion, Mrs. Syafnita also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and warm welcome. After listening carefully to the speech, the training activities were continued with the provision of material “Application of the BINTANG BerAKHLAK Value System for Education Personnel in the USU Environment,” presented by Yasmin Chairunnisa, S.P., MBA. Then, the material “Excellent Service Communication Techniques for Staff in the USU Environment” by Juli Agustini, S.E., was provided.

All participants who attended seemed to enjoy the material provided. According to them, the material presented was beneficial and was excellent new knowledge applied to improve the quality of service in the USU Faculty of Forestry environment. In addition to providing material, on this occasion, Juli Agustini, as the speaker, also invited participants to do a role play demonstrated by Fandi Hutagalung, Nur Hidayat, and Indra Sitepu as educational staff at the USU Faculty of Forestry. Not only that, prizes were also given to the three best participants. After the prize giving, the activity was closed with a group photo to capture the moment.
