FAHUTAN PR- The Faculty of Forestry (FAHUTAN) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a PILSABAR (Election of Safe and Blessed Academic Senate) Non-Graduate on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Faculty of Forestry Meeting Room and Monday, October 7, 2024, at the DLCB Building, Universitas Sumatera Utara. In this period there are five candidates for the Non-Professor Academic Senate and 50 candidates for the Professor Senate who have passed the administrative selection and will be elected. A total of 34 permanent lecturers will vote for the Non-Professor Academic Senate and 165 voters will vote for the Professor senate candidates directly, publicly, freely, secretly, honestly, and fairly.
Based on the final vote of each candidate of the Non-Graduate Academic Senate and Professor in the PILSABAR (Safe and Blessed Academic Senate Election) activity, three Non-Graduate Academic Senates of the Faculty of Forestry USU were elected, namely:
- Dr. Arida Susilowati, S.Hut., M.Si.
- Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng.
- Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng.
The three elected Academic Senate Professors are:
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Purwoko, S.Hut., M.Si.
- Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D.
- Prof. Ir. Rahmawaty, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D., IPU.
With the end of the election process of the Academic Senate Non-Professors and Professors of the Faculty of Forestry USU, we are proud to announce that the six elected representatives have been officially appointed. This victory is the victory of the entire academic community of the Faculty of Forestry, and is a symbol of our success in carrying out democratic elections, directly, publicly, freely, confidentially, honestly and fairly. This election process also shows the strong values of togetherness and kinship that we always uphold.
It is hoped that the six elected Academic Senates from the Faculty of Forestry USU can carry out this mandate well, and bring the Faculty of Forestry USU to higher achievements, both at the national, regional and global levels. May they be able to become representatives who can fight for the progress of the faculty and USU as a whole.
