(Tuesday, April 30, 2024) The Indonesian Rare Tree Forum (FPLI) conducted an internal meeting with Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), specifically involving lecturers and researchers from the Faculty of Forestry USU.
The meeting, held via Zoom, was attended by Dr. Iyan Robiansyah from FPLI along with several researchers and lecturers from the Faculty of Forestry USU, including Dr. Arida Susilowati, S.Hut., M.Si., and Dr. Nelly Anna, S.Hut., M.Si.
This meeting served as a platform to discuss collaborations between FPLI and the Faculty of Forestry USU, focusing on implementing the university's tridharma principles. The planned collaborations include activities in education, research, and community service. Joint initiatives already carried out include tree identification training at the USU Arboretum and research planning involving both parties. Furthermore, collaborative research on tree exploration has been identified as a primary focus of this partnership.
