A total of two students from Universitas Tadulako (Untad), Palu, Central Sulawesi, and Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana), Kupang, NTT participated in the MBKM Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) at the USU Forestry Study Program for the next semester.

A total of two students from Universitas Tadulako (Untad), Palu, Central Sulawesi, and Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana), Kupang, NTT participated in the MBKM Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) at the USU Forestry Study Program for the next semester. The two students are Maria Pangrasia Sabu from Undana's Faculty of Agriculture Forestry Study Program and Vellicia Mpaelo from Untad's Faculty of Forestry.

USU officially welcomed the inbound students of the Batch 4 PMM Program for the even semester of TA 2023/2024 on Tuesday, February 20, 2023, at the USU Auditorium, USU Padang Bulan Campus, Medan. This semester, 189 students from 82 universities across Indonesia are inbound students to the Universitas Sumatera Utara.



PMM students were welcomed directly by USU Vice Chancellor 1 Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.H. and Director of the Directorate of Education Development Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar, S.T., MM.IT. The event was also filled with multi-ethnic dances, symbolic giving of KTM (Student Identity Card), screening of USU profile videos, games, prize distribution, and various entertainment.

The day before, the PMM Program students at the USU Faculty of Forestry had met with the Chairperson and Secretary of the Forestry Study Program, Vice Dean 1 of the Faculty of Forestry, and educational staff. They also conducted a campus tour to see the facilities and infrastructure of the USU Faculty of Forestry campus located on Campus 2 USU Kwala Bekala.


As additional information, in the last odd semester, there was one student from Unhas Makassar and 6 students from Unilak Riau who participated in the student exchange program at the USU Faculty of Forestry. The presence of two PMM students this semester adds to the list of PMM students studying at the USU Faculty of Forestry.
