A delegation from MAN Insan Cendekia East Aceh conducted a campus visit to the Faculty of Forestry USU to gain insight into university life, tour campus facilities, and explore educational cooperation through the signing of an Implementation Arrangement (IA).

HUMAS FAHUTAN — The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), welcomed a delegation of students and teachers from MAN Insan Cendekia East Aceh in a campus visit activity aimed at introducing higher education and strengthening educational collaboration networks.

During the visit, students received an overview of the Faculty of Forestry USU, including information on study programs, academic opportunities, and various activities related to the tridharma of higher education. The program also included a campus tour, allowing participants to become familiar with lecture facilities, laboratories, and supporting learning spaces within the Faculty of Forestry environment.

 

The delegation from MAN Insan Cendekia East Aceh was led by the Head of the Madrasah, Zulkarnain, S.Pd.I., M.A., accompanied by teachers and students. From the Faculty of Forestry USU, the visit was facilitated by the Vice Dean II, Dr. Ir. Pindi Patana, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU.; the Head of the Undergraduate Forestry Study Program, Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng.; the Secretary of the Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Evalina Herawati, S.Hut., M.Si.; Heads of Subdivisions; the Dean’s expert staff; and faculty administrative personnel.

In addition to the campus introduction activities, the visit was marked by the signing of an Implementation Arrangement (IA) as an initial commitment to cooperation between the Faculty of Forestry, USU, and MAN Insan Cendekia East Aceh. This agreement is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of educational programs, knowledge exchange, and sustainable academic activities for both institutions.

 

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Forestry USU reaffirms its role as an open learning space for younger generations and as a strategic partner for secondary education institutions in preparing students to enter higher education and face future challenges in the fields of environment and forestry.
