The Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a team from the Agency for Priority Program Evaluation (BEPP) to conduct the Q1 Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Kwala Bekala Campus, Deli Serdang.
HUMAS FAHUTAN — The Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a team from the Agency for Priority Program Evaluation (BEPP) to conduct the Q1 Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Work Units. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to ensure effective, efficient, and accountable governance and program implementation. This activity is conducted quarterly and is a regular agenda item to strengthen the faculty's quality management system.
The event took place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Kwala Bekala Campus, Deli Serdang.
The monitoring team from the Agency for Priority Program Evaluation (BEPP) Universitas Sumatera Utara included Dr. Wahyu Ario Pramoto, S.E., M.Ec., Secretary of the Agency for Priority Program Evaluation; Ir. Indah Rizkya Tarigan, S.T., M.T., Performance Evaluation Achievement Manager; Wahyu Sugeng Imam Soeparno, S.E., M.Si., Planning Manager; and other BEPP team members. The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., Dean; Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, S.Hut., M.Si., Vice Dean I; Dr. Pindi Patana, S.Hut., M.Sc., Vice Dean II; Dr. Samsuri, S.Hut., M.Si., Head of S2 Study Program; Dr. Evalina Herawati, S.Hut., M.Si., Secretary of S1 Study Program; and the RKA and PUMPK Operators of the Faculty of Forestry USU.
The evaluation covered performance achievements within the faculty, ranging from academic and student affairs to financial and general services. Beyond assessing performance indicators, this forum also served as a means to identify obstacles and formulate implementable solutions for the next period.
The evaluation results from BEPP will be summarized in a quarterly report, which will form the basis for strategic follow-up and the faculty's work planning. Thus, Monev is not merely an assessment process but an integral part of a comprehensive, continuous quality improvement system.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Forestry USU reaffirms its commitment to realizing professional, transparent, and accountable institutional governance, aligning with USU's vision as a world-class research-based university.
