HUMAS FAHUTAN – The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (Fahutan USU), held a Preparatory Meeting for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Activities for 2026 on Thursday, 8 January 2026, at the Faculty of Forestry Meeting Room. This meeting marked the initial step in unifying directions and strategies for the implementation of faculty programs throughout 2026.
The meeting was led by the Dean of Fahutan USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., together with the Vice Dean I of Fahutan USU, Dr. Ir. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, S.Hut., M.Si., and the Vice Dean III of Fahutan USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Purwoko, S.Hut., M.Si. The meeting was attended by faculty leaders and academic administrators, including the Head of the Undergraduate Program (S1) of Fahutan USU, Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng., the Secretary of the Undergraduate Program (S1) of Fahutan USU, Dr. Evalina Herawati, S.Hut., M.Si., the Secretary of the Master’s Program (S2) of Fahutan USU, Dr. Ir. Nurdin Sulistiyono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., the Dean’s expert staff, the Head of Administrative Affairs, Heads of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Subdivisions, as well as academic, student affairs, and alumni staff. The cross-unit participation reflected the faculty’s strong commitment to enhancing internal coordination.
The meeting discussed the kick-off of academic, student affairs, and alumni activities of Fahutan USU for 2026, including the alignment of work programs, strengthening of academic services, and the readiness of supporting units in facing upcoming strategic faculty agendas. Discussions were conducted actively, with an emphasis on effective program implementation and inter-unit synergy.
Through this meeting, Fahutan USU reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving adaptive, well-planned academic governance oriented toward enhancing the quality of education, student affairs, and alumni engagement at both national and international levels.
