PUBLIC RELATIONS FAHUTAN – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully held the annual USU Awards 2024 on Wednesday, December 12, 2024, at the USU Auditorium. The event was themed “Inspiring Through Achievements, Together Realizing Transformation.”
USU Awards 2024 celebrated accomplishments in various categories, including innovation, research, community service, and academic performance. The event was attended by USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., along with deans, faculty members, students, and invited guests from various faculties.
The Faculty of Forestry stood out by winning six USU Awards 2024 across multiple categories. The awards included:

Faculty of Forestry: First Place in IKU 6-Program Collaboration
Forestry Study Program: First Place in Best Collaboration with Government/NGO/Non-Profit Organizations

Prof. Dr. Apri Heri Iswanto, S.Hut., M.Si.: First Place in Best Researcher in Science and Health
The awards were presented directly by the Rector and Vice Rectors of USU, who expressed their appreciation for the dedication of all academic staff in supporting the university’s transformation into a world-class institution.
The annual USU Awards 2024 was a lively event featuring various performances and concluded with a concert by Armada Band. The USU Awards 2024 highlighted that achievements are the key to realizing transformation.
