The Faculty of Forestry at USU received an audience visit from PT Ghina Wisata Semesta regarding a proposed collaboration on travel services and professional official travel management to support academic mobility and institutional activities at both national and international levels.

HUMAS FAHUTAN — The Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received an audience visit from PT Ghina Wisata Semesta to explore potential cooperation in travel services and professional official travel management for both domestic and international needs.

The meeting, held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Forestry USU, served as both a networking forum and a strategic discussion on strengthening institutional mobility services to support the faculty’s academic and institutional activities.

The audience meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Prof. Dr. Arida Susilowati, S.Hut., M.Si.; the Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations, Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng.; the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng.; and the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization, Dr. Anita Zaitunah, S.Hut., M.Sc.

Meanwhile, PT Ghina Wisata Semesta was represented by Asri Wangi.

During the presentation, PT Ghina Wisata Semesta introduced a range of services designed to support institutional travel needs, including official travel ticketing services, hotel and accommodation bookings, visa and travel document processing, as well as Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition (MICE) services.

These services are intended to support various academic and institutional activities such as seminars, conferences, research programs, working visits, and the development of inter-institutional cooperation networks at national and international levels.

The company also emphasized its commitment to providing fast, flexible, and professional services through an integrated service system aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of institutional mobility.

The Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Prof. Arida Susilowati, expressed appreciation for the visit and the cooperation proposal offered by the company. According to her, professional official travel services are an important factor in supporting the smooth implementation of various faculty programs amid the increasing intensity of academic activities and institutional collaborations.

She also emphasized that the Faculty of Forestry at USU remains open to collaboration opportunities with professional partners capable of making meaningful contributions to the development of institutional services.

In line with this, the vice deans also highlighted the importance of a responsive and well-organized official travel management system to support education, research, community service activities, and the strengthening of the faculty’s international networks.

Through this audience meeting, both parties expressed hope for establishing sustainable communication and cooperation to support the implementation of academic and institutional activities that are more effective, professional, and adaptive to future institutional needs.
