On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the USU Faculty of Forestry held a routine meeting to evaluate academic activities for the even semester of 2023/2024. In addition to assessing the even semester that had just ended, the meeting chaired by Dr. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, S.Hut., M.Si as Vice Dean 1 of the USU Faculty of Forestry also discussed the determination of the odd semester course teaching team for 2024/2025 which is a routine that is always carried out before the new semester. This activity aims to improve the standard and quality of academic activities, especially in the lecture process.

The routine meeting held in the USU Faculty of Forestry Meeting Room was attended by all lecturers teaching courses in various interests. In addition, the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si, IPU, ASEAN Eng, and Vice Dean III, Prof. Dr. Agus Purwoko, S.Hut., M.Si also attended the meeting. Several proposals were presented in the discussion that lasted for approximately 4 hours, including those related to MBKM, teaching practitioners, assessment composition, and seminar implementation.

On this occasion, Dr. Tito Sucipto also explained some of the progress of the activities that have been and are being carried out, such as the Practice of Introduction to Forest Ecosystems (P2EH) which has entered the stage of preparing reports and examinations, Field Work Practices (PKL) which have been going on for almost a month, MBKM, academic guidance for filling out study plan cards and ASIIN International Accreditation visitation which will be held next December. In addition, Prof. Dr. Agus Purwoko also gave a proposal to develop the final project with publications in the form of journals as a form of excellence to be strengthened. In addition, this publication is expected to support the development of lecturers and students.
