The Forestry Study Program of the Faculty of Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has established a collaboration with the Forestry Department and Forestry Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Jambi (UNJA). The signing of the Implementation Arrangement (IA) documents took place on August 31, 2023, in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Agriculture at UNJA, Mendalo Campus, Jambi.
Two IA documents were agreed upon and signed, namely:
The documents were signed by the Head of the Forestry Study Program at USU, Dr. Tito Sucipto, the Head of the Forestry Department at UNJA, Dr. Eva Achmad, and the Head of the Forestry Study Program at UNJA, Maria Ulfa, M.Si. The event was witnessed by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Dr. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, and the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Agriculture UNJA, Dr. Bambang Irawan, along with faculty members from both universities.
This collaboration primarily focuses on implementing the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program between the two institutions. Such collaboration is key to advancing Tri Dharma activities as the core business of universities.
