As is well known, the month of Ramadan is a blessed month where Muslims compete to do good deeds. In celebration of this holy month and in anticipation of Eid al-Fitr, the Faculty of Forestry at USU held the "Ramadhan Berbagi" (Ramadhan Sharing) event for the entire academic community on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
This event is part of a regular agenda held every Ramadan in the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr. The Ramadhan Berbagi event this year featured various activities, beginning with a speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Dr. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to all the academic community members who were present. He also conveyed his appreciation for the blessings and the beautiful sense of togetherness that has been nurtured within the Faculty of Forestry. According to him, this event serves as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of affection among the staff and the academic community, who work together in the Faculty of Forestry at USU.
After the speech, the event continued with greetings, casual conversations, and mutual apologies for any mistakes that may have occurred in daily interactions on campus. The atmosphere became emotional as several staff members and members of the academic community were seen wiping away tears during the handshakes. It seemed that the Ramadhan Berbagi moment this year created beautiful and touching memories that will be cherished by everyone present.
After the greetings, the distribution of gift packages containing basic necessities was carried out for all members of the academic community. This was met with joy and gratitude from all participants. The Ramadhan Berbagi event then concluded with a group photo.
