FAHUTAN PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), led a tree-planting activity as part of the GNRM (National Movement for Mental Revolution) initiative to plant 10 million trees across 34 provinces. The event took place at Campus 2 USU Kwala Bekala on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
The tree planting at Campus 2 USU Kwala Bekala aimed to internalize and implement the strategic instrumental values of the mental revolution: work ethic, mutual cooperation, and integrity. The planting activity involved the Dean's Office, the Head of the Forestry Study Program, Laboratory Heads, lecturers, staff, and students of the Faculty of Forestry.
This event was held simultaneously across Indonesia and was supported by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Rector Forum, Universitas Sumatera Utara, the Faculty of Forestry, and the Forestry Study Program USU. It marked a significant step in greening the USU Kwala Bekala Campus, following similar planting activities led by the USU Rector and other officials in previous months.
Do not hesitate or grow weary of planting, because planting is better than not planting.
What we plant, we shall reap.
Study in the Forestry Study Program, graduate fast, and finish on time.
