Dr. Yunasfi, a Lecturer at the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). He has been teaching since 2001. He completed his undergraduate education at Andalas University and graduated with a Bachelor of Agriculture (S.P.) in 1991. He then continued his studies at the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and graduated in 1998. At the same university, he continued his doctoral studies with a focus on mangrove ecology and graduated in 2006. With his knowledge of plant pests and diseases and the basics of forest protection, this man, born on November 19, 1967, joined the USU Faculty of Forestry Department of Forest Cultivation. As a lecturer, Dr. Yunasfi is actively involved in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service, and publishes his work in various reputable journals and proceedings. In between his busy schedule, Dr. Yunasfi is also actively involved in various research and community service activities in mangrove ecosystems as a manifestation of his love for the environment, especially mangrove ecosystems. To date, he has written various scientific publications on mangrove ecosystems and has become a reference for the development of science.
