Suri Fadhilla was born in Kota Binjai, North Sumatra, on September 19, 1990, and is the first of two siblings. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree (S.Hut) at the USU Faculty of Forestry (2008 - 2013), followed by a Master's degree (M.Sc) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (2016 - 2018). Since 2021, she has been working as a lecturer and researcher in the USU Faculty of Forestry Undergraduate Program in Forestry.
As a lecturer, she actively fulfills the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, which includes education, research, and community service through various activities. Her expertise lies in forest resource conservation, ecotourism, flora conservation, and soil and water conservation, applied through research works, publications, patents, books, and dissemination in national and international seminars.
