Novita Anggraini, S.Hut., M.Sc. is the second child of two siblings, born on November 28, 1989. She pursued her undergraduate education at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Forestry (S.Hut.). Subsequently, she continued her studies in Forest Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). She was awarded a Research-Based Student Exchange Scholarship at Yamagata University, Japan, during her postgraduate program from 2013 to 2014.
Since 2020, she has been serving as a lecturer at the USU Faculty of Forestry, specializing in Forest Hydroclimatology. She actively contributes to teaching in the USU Faculty of Forestry Undergraduate Program in Forestry and engages in research and community service activities. Additionally, the dean has appointed her as an expert staff, focusing on alumni affairs in 2021-2022 and research and community service in 2023 until now.
Novita is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Association of Experts and Lecturers of the Republic of Indonesia (ADRI) in North Sumatra and the Indonesian Forest Management Community (KOMHINDO).
