Hafizah Arinah, S.Hut., M.Sc. was born on April 23, 1994, and is the eldest of four siblings. She completed her undergraduate studies at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry (S.Hut.). She then pursued her Master’s degree at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, and graduated in 2020 with a Master of Science (M.Sc.).

Since 2021, she has been serving as a lecturer at the Faculty of Forestry, USU, specializing in Forest Management, particularly in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics. From that year until now, she has been actively involved in education, as well as various research projects and community service initiatives.
