Dr. Deni Elfiati, S.P., M.P., was born in Batusangkar on December 14, 1968. She completed her Bachelor of Agriculture degree at the Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas in 1993, followed by a Master of Agriculture degree in Soil Science from the Universitas Andalas Postgraduate Program in 1998. She then earned her Doctoral degree in Soil Science from Institut Pertanian Bogor in 2004. Since 2002, she has worked as a lecturer at the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, focusing on forest cultivation and forest soil biology research.
