The USU Faculty of Forestry held the Forestpreneurship Workshop 2023 at the Nursing Faculty Auditorium, USU, on November 10, 2023.
The USU Faculty of Forestry Undergraduate Program in Forestry provides education and teaching for its students through classroom lectures and by seeking direct experience and practice in the field. This serves as preparation for entering the workforce upon graduation.
Workplace experience, particularly entrepreneurship, is also an intriguing theme to offer to students. This led to organizing a Forestpreneurship Workshop event, which was attended by students and held at the Nursing Faculty Auditorium, Padang Bulan Campus, on Friday, November 10, 2023.
The event invited three speakers who have long been involved as entrepreneurs in forestry-environmental and digital fields:
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU, Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., and featured introductory remarks by the Director of the Directorate of Student Achievement and Alumni Relations at USU, Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si., represented by Dr. Ir. Emmy Harso Kardhinata, M.Sc.
