USU Faculty of Forestry lecturer, Suri Fadhilla, has been awarded the 2026 Research Program grant from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology under the Beginner Lecturer Research scheme in the Social Humanities field.

The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, proudly shares exciting news. One of its lecturers has successfully secured funding under the 2026 Research Program from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.

Suri Fadhilla, S.Hut., M.Sc., has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Research and Community Service Program grant under the Beginner Lecturer Research scheme, with a focus on Social Humanities.

The proposed research is titled: “Inventory and Mapping of Nature Tourism in the Upper Langkat Regency Area Based on Google Maps Data and Field Verification.”

This achievement is expected to contribute to the development of data-driven nature tourism potential while supporting more structured and sustainable natural resource management.

The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, extends its congratulations and appreciation for this accomplishment and hopes it will inspire the academic community to continue creating and innovating.
