Hello, Bestree!

Good news comes from the USU Faculty of Forestry. This year, two of our lecturers have once again successfully received funding under the 2025 Emergency Disaster Response Community Service Program for the regions of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. This achievement demonstrates the commitment of the academic community in supporting disaster management and community recovery in affected areas.

The two lecturers who received the funding are:

Dr. Achmad Siddik Thoha, S.Hut., M.Si.
Title: Clean, Healthy, and Recovered Program: Rapid Sanitation and Health Interventions and Psychosocial Support in Flood Crisis Management in Langkat Regency.

Dr. Oding Affandi, S.Hut., M.P.

This program represents a tangible contribution of the USU Faculty of Forestry in providing solutions and assistance amid emergency disaster conditions. Hopefully, the outcomes of this work will bring broad benefits to the community and strengthen the role of academics in disaster management efforts in Indonesia.
